The coffee shop is growing in popularity as a great spot for a date. Coffee shops are ideal places for people to meet with one another, have long conversations and do something besides eat a big meal. At a coffee shop, you don't have to get overly dressed up, pay for an expensive dinner or drink alcoholic beverages. The coffee shops main strength is that you can meet the person and have a great conversation. Believe it or not, most dating spots are horrible for conversing (e.g. loud, smoky clubs, concerts and movie theaters).
Meet Outdoors
One of the best ways to enjoy a date is to be outdoors. You don't have to be cooped up inside, especially when the weather is nice. Choose a park, boardwalk, outdoor fair or festival or if you live in the city take a walk around town together. There is so much to do and see in an outdoor environment and being outdoors will definitely supply you with a few things to talk about. For some people, it can be tough to get the conversation going, at least when you are outdoors, you can find something interesting or something that inspires you.
Laugh the Night Away
While it might not be your choice for a first date, going to a comedy club with your date can be a great idea. Who doesn't like to laugh? Usually comedy clubs are a great way to enjoy a casual evening and have a good time. If you are laughing, it usually means that you are having a good time and comedy clubs make it extremely easy to laugh the night away.
