Yes, it is all right for a woman to make the first move. There, let just get that out the way at the start and we can move on to how. If women sit back and wait for the guy that they are interested in to make the first move, they will, not may, will lose him to someone that is more assertive. The reason is that guys hate rejection.
Do not let the macho talk fool you. No guy likes to hear no. So when they are out trying to meet someone they will go for the woman that gives them the best chance of success. Now this does not mean the best chance of success to have sex. Some guys may think that, but a woman can quickly put that out of his mind. Besides if he makes the first move he will be thinking the same anyway.
Now that you know why you should make the first move, let me tell you how.
1. Smile. That is it. Most women look just incredible when they smile. A smile simply brightens your face. It makes you look more inviting. Now do not look like you are on some kind of high. But just a nice easy smile certainly makes you look more approachable.
2. Play with your hair. Some where guys read it that if a woman plays with or strokes her hair that is a good sign that she is interested. Many of us have been working off of that belief every since. Is it true? Who knows? The main point is that many guys believe that it is. Use this to your advantage. Like all these suggestions, do not do it all the time or it will look like you are vain or on something, but a stroke every now and then while looking in his direction will give him the right signal.
3. Ask A Question. This is a very non-threatening way to break the ice. Besides guys love to help. Well we really just love to think we have all the answers. This will allow you to find out the interest level in a non-threatening way. If he continues to try to talk with you after his initial answer, now you are on your way.
4. Give him a compliment. If you are looking at him, there most be something that you like. If that is the case let him know. Who does not like to be complimented. Not only that but this will encourage conversation because he will already believe that there is something that you like about him.
Well there you have it. None of these suggestions will be perceived as being desperate or easy. You did not tackle the guy and put a ring on his finger. All you did was make it easier to get pass that uncomfortable first move. Believe me your future great guy will thank you for it.
