All About The Pinatas Game

There are several kinds of piñatas in this world. There are piñatas you can buy that were made authentically in Mexico. There are piñatas that you can make with your kids at home and there are piñatas that you can purchase for parties just to fill with candy and have smashed to bits. Don't fret over the fate of the piñata, for that's what it's made for.

In tradition the piñata is a brightly colored paper Mache decoration. It is hollow inside and can be filled with treats such as candy and coins for kids. How do they get those coins out of the piñata? Well, it requires a bat or a long stick and lots of arm power.

Smashing a piñata is a fun game that consists of placing a blindfold on a child providing him or her with a bat and letting him or her try to knock the stuffing out of the piñata. Usually the adults at the party will hang the piñata by a string so it can be raised and lowered as the child tries swinging for it. Once last thing, the adults will also usually have the child turn around three times so he or she is a little dizzy when trying to swing for the piñata. Each child gets three swings to try and knock open the piñata.

If you want to try out the piñata game for yourself or for your child's next party, they you should look for a piñata that fits with the party theme. Piñatas can be made to fit any theme and you'll find that there are many choices available, such as a Sponge bob piñata or a Halloween piñata.

The piñata game should be played outside in an area with plenty of room to move around. This will lessen the chance of that bat hitting someone's favorite table lamp by accident. Also make the rest of the kids at the party stand a good distance away from the child that's swinging the bat.
