School seems to be one of those things that you hate when you're there, but you wish you could go back to once you've finished - so why not re-visit the fun of your childhood by having a back to school' themed party with school party games? Here are 2 ideas to start you off.
Paper Plane Throwing Contest
Throwing paper planes in class is something many of us got into trouble for in our youth. In this whacky school party game, you can see if your paper-plane making skills have lasted, or if they've faded over the years. All that's required for the game is enough paper for each guest to make a paper plane, and a tape-measure to use in close calls. Encourage guests to be creative with their planes; the more flair the better. Guests stand behind a starting line, and throw their planes. The 1 or 2 (depending on guest numbers) people whose planes flew the least distance exit the game. This continues until 2 players are left; the player who can fly their plane furthest is the winner.
School Photo Matching Contest
On the party invites, encourage guests to bring in an old school photo. Display these on a table, and have party guests write down who they think each photo belongs to. The person with the most correct answers is the winner. This school party game can be interesting, as some people hardly change as they age while others look completely different.
Taking a trip back to your school days with some school party games can be a great way to reminisce with your buddies, or even catch up with old school-friends. It doesn't take much to turn the occasion into a really fun day or night.
